Bartłomiej's digital journey began in the mid-1990s at the dawn of the internet. As part of the pioneering creative circle that helped launch the original foundations of Onet.pl — Poland's premier web portal — he was developing first-generation web platforms for international giants like Sony Poland (1996), McDonald's, Heineken, and Carlsberg before most agencies even existed.
The Bauhaus & Mies van der Rohe Heritage.
Unlike developers who learned from online templates, Bartłomiej's approach was forged through formal architectural training. Mentored directly by a close colleague and collaborator of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, his design philosophy adopted the foundational principles of the Bauhaus: Form follows function, Less is more, and God is in the details. This architectural discipline treats every digital project not as decorative art, but as an engineered structure governed by logic, utility, and visual truth.
The Active Maker, Not an Office Executive.
In 2000, he founded NEXT Design as a dedicated studio for holistic brand engineering. Concurrently leading WebService, Bartłomiej has overseen more than 600 complex web and brand deployments. Despite running the operation, he refuses to retreat into a disconnected managerial role. He remains an active, hands-on designer, Webflow developer, set photographer, and 3D artist.
