Gastrostop - Packaging & Advertising Campaign
Gastrostop Campaign Design + Photoshoot
Packaging & Campaign in One Concept
The Brief
NEXT Design was commissioned to develop a new packaging concept and an advertising campaign for Gastrostop, a popular over-the-counter digestive medicine. The two had to work as one: a pack that stands out on the pharmacy shelf, and a campaign that gives the brand a recognisable, human face.
A Character, Not a Model
The Creative
Instead of generic stock imagery, the campaign was built around a personal character performance by Krzysztof Górecki, an actor of the Ludowy Theatre in Nowa Huta, Kraków. Working with a stage actor allowed us to tell the product story through expression and timing – a believable everyday situation that consumers instantly relate to, delivered with the restraint and good taste that a medicine brand requires.
Studio Photography & Design
Our Role
We handled the creative concept, the studio photoshoot with the actor and the design of both the packaging and the campaign materials. Producing the imagery in our own studio kept the photography, the pack design and the advertising perfectly aligned – one visual idea carried consistently across every touchpoint, from the carton to the campaign.
