Bonduelle Packaging Design
Packaging Design for New Product Series - Bonduelle
New Product, Established Style
The Brief
Bonduelle asked NEXT Design to design the packaging for a new product in its range: sliced mushrooms in brine. The challenge was specific: create original photography and design, but make the result fit seamlessly into Bonduelle’s well-known packaging style, so the new product would sit naturally alongside the rest of the range on the shelf.
Food Photography in Our Studio
Our Approach
We produced our own food photography in the studio, styling and lighting the mushrooms to match the appetising, fresh look that characterises Bonduelle’s packaging. Working within an existing brand system is its own discipline: every decision – from camera angle to colour temperature – had to respect established rules rather than reinvent them, while still making the product look its very best.
A Seamless Range Extension
The Result
The final packaging combined the new photography with Bonduelle’s visual language in production-ready artwork. The result was a product that looked as if it had always been part of the family – exactly what a strong brand needs when it extends its range.
